If you are familiar with internet business, you have have heard the term super affiliate. This is essentially the 1-2% of all affiliates that generate 98% of all sales.

First, if you are not in that 2%, you should scratch you head and look at that number again…

Only 1-2% of all affiliates earn 98%? Really? How can this be?

Now if you have been sucked in and spit out, by the “internet marketing” crowd
, you would believe that all the money online is being made by joint ventures, simply because they are very popular in the “IM” community.

Now, don’t get me wrong, forming joint ventures is very powerful, and can be (and is) done in many different markets and industries. But that is not what this is about…

The reality is that outside of “im” in the real world, there are a variety of different ways not only to drive traffic, but actually turn it into real sales. There are successful online marketers that have generated millions with as little as 100 visitors a day.

Over the next week or two we are going to investigate and discuss what some of these powerful tactics are.

Today I want am actually going to jump ahead a bit and reveal what is one (or 2) of the most important secrets of super affiliates.

What is it you ask? Well first, they never use their affiliate links when they promote their products.

Hopefully you have heard this before, but let me say that again…they do not use their affiliate links in promoting their products.

Simply put, they use a variety of methods to mask or “cloak” them, but this is really isn’t the whole story the truth goes much deeper…

First, to explain the reason that superaffiliates do this is simple. The average person in 2007 is much more internet savvy than they may have been a few years ago. This is good news, because this means that they buy much more online.

It also means that they understand a lot more how buying and selling works, aka… you the affiliate. The sad truth about human psychology is that people have a hard time “giving” someone money for something, even if it doesn’t effect them. People don’t want to feel manipulated, even though they do want to be lead. We will cover sales psychology of this at some point in the future, but for now, understand that people will delete any affiliate links they will discover and go directly to the merchant.

Merchants know this, most don’t care…as a matter of fact, they think that they are just conducting “clever business”, because it means they just got free traffic and didn’t have to pay anyone for a sale..often doubling their profits.

Lets be honest for a moment, if you saw an affiliate link when shopping online, how many times have you bypassed it and gone directly to a merchat? Chances are that you have, as studies show that most people aware of affiliate links will in fact remove them.
Now the simple solution here as we said is “cloaking” the links in a variety of ways. As a matter of fact, what you need to do now is go on google and do a search for “link cloakers” or link cloaking. Both will turn up numerous results for cloaking software, as well as methods you can do it yourself on your website , if you are so inclined.

So you will find several free options, as well as software you can purchase.

The truth is however is that this is only one small part of making things successful for your business.

What super affiliate realize is that most vendor/merchant website don’t SELL, meaning they don’t convert your visitors into buyers. This is what MOST affiliates don’t realize or understand.

Whether you sell a information product or physical product, the best way to sell products from others is by PRE-selling your visitors.

So how do you do this?

You need to write about the product, and let them know how it will benefit them, now it should be made clear that pre-selling a product is not the same as selling it. You goal here is to warm up you prospect to the sale/order page, so that they immediately make a buying decision. This is done by making clear the BENEFITS and how it fills their need, then telling them how to take action WITHOUT selling it.

You have them come to your site, you explain the product to them and then tell them to take action by visiting the site. The concept itself is simple and can be done with PPC or through SEO. This has you also provide exactly what search engines want, which is content.

Still confused?

I am going to recommend that you read the free ebook by the Legendary Ken Envoy who got 100,000 people started on the net back in 1999 with the first release of this ebook, it was last updated in 2002, and just recently he is now offering it for free.

He talks about how to sell you product, as well as how to presell products

http://internetbusinessreport.com/Kensfreebook

Which actually brings me to my next point. As I said before, and I don’t know how else to be clear than to simply say that many vendor sites suck.

This is where the real secret of super affiliates comes in. They develop sites with their own sales page that completely sells the benefits of the product, then send their eager prospects DIRECTLY to the sales page.

They do this by hiring someone to create a piece of software that allows them to insert their affiliate link, which is also cloaked as described above, but go directly to the order page. Some merchants don’t care, others hate this, as they just lost a bunch of free traffic.

What this does for you, the affiliate, is create your own sales page, or sales site, and then directly send your prospect to the order page of the product you are promoting.

Most affiliate lose most sales prospects before they make it to the sales page. That is why 1-2% make all the money.

There are a few software packages that offer the ability but are few and far between, take a look for them on Google, but they tend to be expensive IF you find one.

Many affiliates paid 1000’s to develop this for themselves, I was fortunate to buy one few a few hundred, but due to the power, as top sellers don’t want everyone to use this, it was in limited quantity, and no longer sold.

I will try to find you a piece of software that can do this, but in the mean time, you need to pre-sell your product, and learn how to properly create a webpage that will sell product before they make it to the vendor site. That is going to be the way you earn sales.
Read Kens book for free
http://internetbusinessreport.com/Kensfreebook

There is no catch, but what Ken hopes is that you will take action and buy his web hosting services at sitesell. I would not worry too much about that, but I CAN tell you that I bought this ebook when it first came out many years ago , and paid money for it.

So you getting it for free is a great deal, seriously…

It will teach you how to pre-sell and sell products that will create a slippery slide to the order page. This is definately a key secret of super affiliates.
It would sell for at least $197 if it came out today.
Snatch that up now and I will provide you some more secrets to building your business using these strageties.
I should also note it works for your own products obviously as well and explains everything that people SHOULD be telling you about how to set up your website.

Also…I will be revealing more dark secrets of super affiliates that you can apply to any business soon

To your success

Jeffrey

Once a top marketer, with major corporate clients, commented he liked to “give people a heachache”.

What he meant by that is that to market something well, you often have to solve a need or a problem for people.

And sometimes you have to TELL people that they have a problem, before you can offer to fix it for them.

This is something that most people trying to market a product don’t understand or forget.

You need to be able to explain ot your prospect HOW your product is going to benefit them
and what PROBLEM they have that your product fills.

If you need to understand and sympathize with your prospects about how the problem they have, relate to it yourself and show you understand. Now some TOP marketers go into melodramatic details about how awful it is to be in their shoes, and how terrible the marketer felt when they had that problem, too. (It works for billion dollar clients)

Then, what do you know, they then comes up with *the answer to the problem*

Now, personally, I just can’t lay it on quite that thick, but then again they sell a lot of stuff that way! Ever seen a TV commerical?

Back in the 80’s there was a mail order company called DAC, they had been doing poorly until they brought a new marketer on board who quickly became one of their top executives.

They essentially sold electronics, but he had a way of personally describing how much he loved and used each product and how he benefited from using it personally and even more ways that you would as a buyer.

He would talk about him using it, his wife, his daughters, whomever, then what incredible need it filled for you.

He knew how to make a reader fall in love with EVERY product in the catalog. He also skyrocketed the company’s success.

I used to love to just read the catalog for his descriptions.

What you need to undestand is the importance of relating to you your prospect and being able to understand what need you are filling for them and be able to emotionally present how you can fill it. It is that emotion that you evoke that sells your product, not the features of it, no matter how great.

I have found that the most successful people are those that are passionate about what they offer, and love and believe in their product, because they bring that to their prospects, and turn them quickly into customers.

Remember though it isn’t what YOU think about your product, but what solution does it fill for your potential customer.

If you are not sure, write down a list of the key features of your product, then think about how each feature BENEFITS your prospect, then TELL THEM.

This will work with both your own products and affiliate products.

If you are into affiliate marketing, you will absolutely blow away your competition by RELATING to your customer and SHOWING them how you fill their need. Many companies do a poor job of explaining their products, even is sales letters , and most affiliates…well the few good ones are called “super affiliates” for a reason.

In the future we are going to talk more about writing your own pre-sales or sales letter for your prospects for affiliate products, as well as many other important tips.

But until then, remember…

“Give them a headache and then sell them aspirin”

It’s at the core of many successful ad campaigns.

Think about it. What “headcaches” exist in your market,
and what is your is your “pain relieving offer”?

to your YOUR Success!

Jeffrey

One huge sad truth is that the majority of people don’t know how to best sell affiliate products.

It seems like most people talking about marketing don’t really know how to sell products other than “get rich quick” products, so that is why many people find it hard to succeed selling real products.

There are several ways you can do this, but I am going to reveal a trick today that will allow you to do this in a fairly quick and easy way.

When marketing their affiliate program (or even their own product), one of the biggest mistakes affiliates make is trying to be too broad in their keywords. This holds true whether optimizing a page, or most importantly when using PPC.

For the sake of this article, I am going to focus on PPC, but the same holds true when optimizing a authority site or even promoting your own products.

First you should look at resources like inventory.overture.com (which still works, despite long standing rumors to the contrary), the free tool at wordtracker.com and the free tool at keyworddiscovery.com

longer phrase keywords have been proven to be more successful, so you always want to try and focus on 3 or more word phrases, often the longer the better.

There is one point here that is often overlooked and a big secret of many super affiliates in a variety of markets.

You keyword phrase should involve exactly the product that you are selling. For example this past Christmas season I sold products like software and cameras using ppc, as I am into certain electronics and familiar with the markets, and know that there would be some hot sellers.

Rather than using keywords like “buy cameras now online” which may sound like a good keyword phrase, including the exact name of the product “order superduper camera xtreme xl3000″ is a much higher converting phrase as your audience is looking for that exact product.

now also remember to take out any negative keywords too common ones for physical products include “free, hack, lawsuit, problem, issues” etc because you want BUYERS to your website.

It is really important to note this as specific narrow keywords are overlooked by a large majority of affiliate marketers.

So where do you find these products to sell. Researching actual volume is important, but to be honest the first indicator I always look for is what people are BUYING RIGHT NOW. You can determine this in a variety of ways. First is to check out forums in various niches and see what people are talking about and want. Check out real indicators like Pulse.ebay.com they will tell you exactly what people are looking for. Next see on the above keyword tools I mentioned above or use an alternative version of them at digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion to see what phrase people are searching with and how many actual searches you can expect, keeping in mind negative keywords

Just look for products that are always in demand, or in demand at that time of year, also don’t be afraid to look at offline magazines and catalogs to see what everyone is talking about. Be sure to know what people in the market are buying

This concept works with practically any product that you may sell on the web.

Stick with well known product vendors that have brand credibility, it is going to depend on your market, but don’t you think that someone may be more likely to buy from amazon.com than bigbobscameras.com (made up name)?

So look for names that people may recognize like amazon in some cases. You can search for programs yourself on google, which honestly I find my favorite method of finding good programs, you can also use CJ.com, linkshare.com, and shareasale.com you may find that some vendors are on multiple programs, or also offer a direct program. Check out directories like associateprograms.com

You will also find a list of affiliate networks there as well.

See what other top ads are using on google, and mimic that ad, with a few possible tweaks

-include a price if possible, if it is a product with a model number make sure that it is included in the ad (as well as your keyword), or a percentage. The bottom line is that people respond to numbers, and while some vendors are aware of this to some extent, most affiliates have no idea, so including numbers of this type in your ad with improve response rate

This is particularly true in the headline, so something like “thintrim xl99 $195″. i have also found if the product has a short name and you can fit both it and the price with the “only” will increase your click through and maintain your conversions.

Your goal should be to find the vendor that offers the lowest price of the product that shows up on the first page of google AND still has some name credibility, if there really isn’t one, then go for price and your commission.

The reason that we are doing this is because we know that if a top product vendor with a top ad is advertising a product, that they have done the market research to determine which features and benefits will move people to take action.

Since we have been focusing on PPC, in these cases you will want your goal for weekly affiliate commissions to be double your campaign cost. You should continue to adjust your ad and look at your market to make sure it is a buyers market until you can achieve this.

You can set up dozens to hundreds of small campaigns like this

As always if you have tested a campaign and it is a dog, and you don’t know how to fix it, move on to another campaign.

In the future I will reveal how you can use similar strategies to build a list through optin bribes and capture pages aka “squeeze pages”, but first I will reveal some other profit building techniques so keep a watchful eye for featured tips.

To your success

This post is intended for those that are still trying to create or build their online business, I will assume that you are not yet making 10k or more per month online, and are not an expert. If you are you can skip this particular post, if not I suggest you read on.

Are you serious about making money online?

I hope you are, as there is a lot of opportunity for you out there on the internet. It really is possible to make 10k, 20k, 50k, 100k, or more per month online. It all just a matter of taking immediate action on proven strategies, and willingness to put forth some effort.
Unforunately there are quite a few jackels that would love nothing more than to suck the last dime from you in your pursuit in creating a successful online business for yourself, your family, and to lead a more relaxed and more fulfilled life. They hope to suck the marrow from your bones as you struggle to succeed online, and will do so gleefully in their own pursuits of creating wealth.

I DO HAVE A BIT OF GOOD NEWS

There ARE people that have “been there, done that,” that are willing to give away their secrets. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, those are one of the few times you should jump on their offer.

If you have bought other products, and they came up short for you, I may if your answer IF you are willing to take ACTION.

Kyle and Carson, are a couple of honest guys that got started a few years ago in college and suddenly found themselves making 20k a month within their first six months of business. They have now moved on and also help teach others how they can make up to 100k per month at their site weathlyaffiliates.com. They have helped generate millions online.
Now, Today, they have released a new Ebook called “Who loves Money?”

http://internetbusinessreport.com/money

Yes the title is over the top, but the book is written just for you, and probably will be “THE” ebook for 2007

This is because they teach you how to MAKE money with out SPENDING a ton of money, which is one of the biggest questions I almost always get.

Here is the basic secret, you can make no money or only $40-$50 dollars a month on an article, squiddo lens, etc done the wrong way.

BUT…

With the exact same amount of effort..without being original or a pioneer, you can use their PROVEN strategies to make $1000 for each article, squiddo lens, or find the right product for you to be selling to make some real money…

ISN”T THAT EXACTLY WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR?

That is why I recommend this product, if you are already earning 6 figures online this product might not be what you are looking for.

But, if you are NOT earning 10k/mo and want someone to explain things to you without a bunch of hype or “ninja techniques” that only an expert earning 20k or more a month would comprehend, and learn instead how YOU can earn 10-20k per month online…

This is what you want to get:

http://internetbusinessreport.com/money

I say jump on this now as they are offering a discount since it just came out today…

AND

Honestly, I don’t know if there will be another product like this available this year.

Here is what a few other people that bought it today said:

***** “Who Loves Money is fantastic with loads of little gems, some ground breaking stuff and oodles of common sense tips and information. I love the ’slow roller’ section…”

***** “I just finished reading Who Loves Money and justed wanted to commend [carson and kyle] on another brilliant achievement.”

***** “I’m on page 52 of WLM and my heart rate is increasing. This is just so hot, got to…”

Get something that will help you build a business from a couple of stand up guys

http://internetbusinessreport.com/money

Here is a chance for you to improve your success

A recent question was:

How do I generate traffic to my website on a very limited budget of time and money?

Well I can help you with one or other of those issues: you can generate free traffic on a limited budget with a bit of time, or you can spend less time and use other methods that will either cost you money in marketing, or a bit of money in having someone do it for you.

First you have to determine which is the highest priority, time or money. You will have to give one way or the other. I asssume that money is the real issue, if you are serious you can budget the time necessary to create success.
I certainly understand the money issue, but even if you work full time, you need to find a way to dedicate 10-15 hours each week to building your online business. Once you see a few dollars you may more easily understand the payoff.

Having said that this is what I recommend on a zero or low budget:

First remember that you need to dedicate 10 hours a week to creating a successful business for yourself, and your family if you have one. The thing to remember that you are doing this to improve the quality of your life, and it can take a bit of effort, but an easy way to start is 1 hour per day 5 days a week, plus one half day.
You want to really have your own product, the reason for this is that it give you for more income per sale, and opens many more free marketing opportunities.
-find something you love research the niche as to ensure there is a desire for that type of product, and how much it commonly sells for. Creating a product can be deceptively easy if you have knowledge, interest, or a hobby in a particular area, take a moment to write down things you like to do have a list of at least 5-10 ideas and search the on google and inventory.overture.com. See if people are actually buying products using keywords related to that topic. Don’t let yourself get bogged down in research, but in an hour you should be able to research several topics.

You don’t want to be orginal or a pioneer, you goal is to find proven money making markets.

IF there is a demand, create an ebook or even better an audio course. You can download audacity for free at sourceforge.com to create mp3 audios. You can actually create a product in 8-16 hours, many people create a quality product in just a few hours in areas they are already experienced in.
-get a paypal account if you don’t have one

-get an autoresponder like aweber.com or getresponse.com, unless you are already a member of 1shoppingcart.com and use theirs

-create a sales letter, there is a lot of great -FREE- material on the net on how to properly write a sales letter the key here is to rememeber to have a unique sales angle, great headline, and be able to explain to your prospects why YOUR product will fill the needs and benefit them. It is about what they get and the BENEFIT as opposed to what features your product has

The easiest way to do this is get ideas from other successful sales letters in your market, you can determine this from looking at products in clickbank, or searching on google. Then create a thankyou page for buyers of your product. After a bit of research you should be able to create these 2 things in about 5 hours

create a dhtml popup (unblockable popup) you can search for free tools to do this for you on google to do at no cost or buy impact popup, which can be found for as low as 19.00 or less with a bit of searching. You will offer a free bribe like an article or download, or email series on the topic as a bribe. (remember that it takes the average prospect 7 times to make a buying decision EVEN when interested in your product). All of that should take 2
get an account on clickbank.com, and submit your product (which will cost you 50 dollars)

you now have a huge affiliate base that you can access your product, now you want to get them to know about it

-create 5-10 more clickbank accounts (they are free to create), you will use these to create affiliate links
, the goal is to create and spread around links to your product that look like they are from multiple sources so they are read and book marked by readers and picked up by search engines, etc

-create a blog subpage so that you can get some posibly gain some traffic, but don’t rely on this to create income at first, it will become useful later if you use ppc ads after making some money, this should take an hour, ad one article per week

-write an article and submit to sits like ezinearticles.com, goarticles, and usfreeads.com, for best results submit multiple articles, use one or 2 affiliate links

-find blogs in your market and contribute relevent comments and include one of your affiliate links to the product

- find and post relevant comments in forums and actively participate, with another affiliate clickbank link

-create a squidoo lens for your product and use another affiliate link

-use other bookmarketing sites/ web 2.0 sites like digg.com, stumbleupon.com furl.net and use other affiliate links

- contact other sites selling simliar sites or popular lists and content sites in your market, you can call the owner by phone by finding their information at domaintools.com

-you should not only offer them comissions for selling your product, but you should ask them to do a teleseminar. This creates instant content that you can post on your blog, plus sells a lot more of your product than emails. Remember that however they promote that you should always provide at least 50% and 70% for downloadable products is not uncommon in highly competitive competitive markets.

This all will get the word out there and as sales are made, your ranking will improve in clickbank and more and more affiliate will find your site and promote your product

Once you start making money you should re-invest it by advertising your affiliate program on clickbank and running an adwords compaign. You will most effectively and quickly build a real business by reinvesting inital profits back into your marketing.

Make sure to have an autoresponder sequence planned so that you can continue to offer your product to prospects, but do it by pre-selling them with quality content related to the product.

You can also offer existing customer cross sells and upsells of other affiliate products, or create your own.

That would be how I would recommend getting started, and is the best way to go, and you can create success with that

Hi folks this blog is not only going to provide you access to business processes from our guests, but will also provide you with an ongoing commentary on entrepreneurialism on the internet.

Am I, Jeffrey Neil, the webs coolest online entrepreneur? I don’t know about that, but I been an entrepreneur both online and offline most of my life. I have been online since 1994 and have helped in the development of some major online businesses over the years including fortune 500 companies, then most importantly my own in 2002.

I have been too busy with my own businesses to hawk promises of instant overnight success, so you may never have heard of me. Actually I have been almost pathologically secretive

I felt that it was time that I take a major step up for folks in 2007 and break through some of the boxed thinking and hype that exists and bring long term, successful working strategies.

The most important thing that I want to tell you from the beginning is that anyone REALLY CAN make a great living online, and grow your business into a million dollar a year or more business. Let me tell you, more people than you realize are doing it. The truth is, however, it will take some real effort on your part, and you must be willing to watch and listen to what is currently working for other online millionaires and model your strategies on what obviously works. (not on the hot product of the day)

You just need to have a long term plan for success.

So stick around, learn the step by step process to build and grow your online business in 2007 from my panel of internet business experts.

Plus … I or my staff will make comments on the latest breaking strategies

If you promise to stick around I might eventually even tell you what is so unique about me, and why it should bring hope to anyone trying to build an internet business
